Nature and Outdoor Events for Women:

Connecting you to Nature

Being in and surrounded by nature can be of great benefit mentally, physically and socially. For me it grounds me, lifts me, soothes me and energises me and connects me to a like-minded community.

But, the thing I’ve noticed ove the years is that the outdoor community can often feel intimidating and exclusive. Hiking groups are often intermediate to advanced, and the outdoors can often seem inaccessible to a regular nature-lover, looking to adventure or connect to nature in new ways.

The amazing thing with the outdoors, is that there is something for everyone and every capability and its my passion to make space and opportunity women who are looking for a safe, welcoming and comfortable environment to step out of their comfort zone and into a new adventure.

My First Mountain (MFM):

For women wanting to feel capable, strong and confident on the trail.

Many women want to hike more — but aren’t quite sure where to begin.

It’s not usually a lack of ability. It’s uncertainty around planning, pacing, navigation, or simply trusting their own judgement on the trail.

My First Mountain is a structured five-week Mountain Foundations programme designed to support women in transitioning into confident, independent mountain walking.

Through progressive trail sessions, practical navigation skills, pacing awareness, and supported self-led walks, participants build the knowledge and steady confidence needed to plan and complete their own hikes.

This is not about following.

It’s about learning how to lead yourself.

Hiking Events:

Events are beginner friendly (hikes are gentle nature trails) and are hosted in English.

Moving overseas can be hard, and being a expat (new or old) can be both challenging and lonely. I’ve been there through my own moves. But, I’ve also seen the power that nature holds, the incredible personal journeys that nature guides us along and the deep and powerful connections with others that can emerge through time spent together in nature.

These are the reasons that I host these events. I truly believe in the positive healing and grounding power that comes with time in nature, and I am also deeply thankful for the connections and sense of community that grows from time spent together.

Women who Walk (Entry Level – Beginners) – monthly

These are perfect for anyone who is looking to get out for a gentle walk in nature. Maybe you are looking to invite something new into your life, returning to nature and the outdoors after a gap (maybe a child or injury), or are aspiring to build up fitness and confidence to join a more active hiking group. This walks are local, super accessible and even those with younger children (i.e who can be carried in a carrier) are welcome along. (If you need a child carrier please let me know).

Expect these gentle park walks to cover 4-5km and vary between 1.5 – 2 hours.

Wild Women Nature Immersion Walks

These events are true nature immersion days, for women who are looking for an extended walk, with a gentle pace. Walks are along well maintained forest trails where we take time to stop and explore our surrounding nature with all our senses, making this a truly immersive and grounding day.

Expect these walks to cover 5-7km and take 4-5 hours depending on the trail.
